The Ohio State football team told Kyle McCord to transfer

The Ohio State football team was one win away from making the Big Ten Championship. They would likely have won that game and then made the College Football Playoff. Instead, they fell to Michigan in the last game of the season. It was a disappointing end to what was once a promising season.

Kyle McCord had a shot to be an Ohio State football legend. He was trying to lead a game-winning drive at the end of the game. Instead, he threw an interception on the final play for the Buckeyes. That ended up being the last pass he would throw as a member of the Buckeyes because he transferred to Syracuse shortly after.

McCord entered the portal despite losing just one game as a starter. Speaking on the NoDestination Podcast, his side of the story is quite different than what I had heard.
