We've got a full day of baseball coming at you Sunday, and there's no better way to attack a loaded slate than to fire on some home run prop bets. Here are my three favorite players to hit a home run Sunday.
Saturday's matchup between the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox should be a fun one. The wind will be whipping out to left field all game, creating a 43 percent boost to home runs at Guaranteed Rate Field (Ballpark Pal). Luis Robert, who leads the White Sox in home runs this year with 19, is my favorite target for what should be a hitter's paradise in Chi-Town.
This is a great spot for Shohei Ohtani to improve upon his league-leading 25 home runs. The Los Angeles Angels slugger gets to face Austin Gomber, the Colorado Rockies righty who's given up the most homers in MLB this season (19), at the friendliest hitter's park in the league. This is a matchup between the best in the league and the worst, so I'll gladly take the best at +220 odds.
J.D. Martinez ranks third on the Los Angeles Dodgers this season with 16 home runs, and 14 of them have come off right-handed pitching. Now he gets to face Houston Astros righty Hunter Green, who's allowed four home runs over his last three starts and got shelled for six earned runs in his last appearance. This is a great price on a great matchup.
